This story is based after King Sombra was defeated by Spike and the others. So with out further a dew...oh wait I don't care you have to be a unicorn. OK so NOW with out further a dew.

You where on a field trip with your class to Neighagra falls. The class you were in really wasn't your favorite because of the teacher that only preached about not destroying the environment and be one with all and nature. (Yeah your teachers a hippie)
Your favorite class was histroy because of the passed Equestrian had. The newly started chapter was of the Crystal Empire. True there wasn't much that could be taught about a kingdom gone missing.
But you knew a few things that the Crystal Empire with held and of the battle between the ruler and both princesses. But now you were stuck on a field trip with your class.
Walking away from the group to a pool of water just off the falls. Looking at your reflection in the water you could see stray leafs and twigs in your (M/T.C) from your off trale hick to this clearing by the falls. "Why couldn't we go on the trale to the actual place we're supposed to?" You asked your self. Using your magic to get out the unwanted plants in your main. Sitting next to the pool you sat your bag down and pulled out a book you were reading.
As you began to surch for the place you left off. When you found your place a sudden tunderus boom that came from the north. That scared you and your class. Your teacher notest that you where not with the group yelled "N! Stay with the group your going to mess with the flow of the falls!" Looking his way you sighed then heard what sounded like the breaking of water. Turning to inspect the sound; you moved closer to the water and saw a curved cone shaped rock with red that faded to a grayish-blackgrayish-black to the base. Picking it up with your magic to look at it closer you heard you teachers hoves moving towards you. Quickly outing it in your bag you turned to you teacher and said plainly "I'm coming just le'me put my book away. Looking to your book and placing it back into your bag. After you picked up your bag you turned to your teacher and classmates to see them surprised while looking at the sky. Following there gazes to the sky your eyes widened to see rainbow colored streakes. Looking at the sight brought a small glims of the Crystal Empire study of the kingdoms ability of happiness and love it admitted. Looking back to your classmates you excitedly yelled " That's the Crystal Empires Aurora! This only happens when the crystal ponys put there love and happiness together!" Seeing that all there astonishment and surprise gone from there faces. You sighed and put you history book away and back into your bag. "HISTORY NERD!" One of your classmates yelled at you. Giving a slight glare at who ever yelled that to you. Your teach catching the unhappiness between his students Mr. Wildbee began to tell everypony to start picking up there stuff so we could leave.

Blowing a part of your main away from your eyes; you opens your history book to what was known of the Crystal Empire. And read what was there on the empire and the rulers of past. While flipping threw some future pages you see a portrait of King Sombra. "Hey he's kinda cute but to bad he was a tyrant to his people." You thought to your self looking at the portrait you notest his horn. "Wait. Wait. Hold on a sec that looks familiar." You whispered  to your self.
Taking a glance at or bag you looked inside to the rock that you had taken. Lifting it out and putting on the portrait. Looking from the rock to the picture seeing to much of a resemblenes."Oh first the blast thing then...this...to the Aurora in the sky. Is the Crystal Empire back? Was this really King Sombra's horn? Oh Celestia what's going on in the north?" You thought frantically. Looking up to see how far away from home you were. You didn't expect that the only ponys on the (bus?) Were the driver you and Mr. Wildbee. "Oh sorry I was reading." You said quickly putting the horn and the history book back into your bag. Leaving after putting everything away, you ran to the library as fast as your hoves could take you. As you came to a sliding stop in front of the library you panted and opened the door and went strait to the history section. You found only a few books of the Crystal Empire and King Sombra. "Oh please have some info on King Sombra and what  happened back then!" You taped you hove on the ground as you read.
